For the third year in a row i spent the winter in Goa. It’s a place where i can play music few nights a week and enjoy long bike rides around the countryside, but the main reason why i go back it’s because of the good old friends and fellow musicians that choose the same destination.
I rented a small house in the fishermen village for a very honest price and hired a scooter for 3 months. The house was very shady and fresh and i could finally cook my meals in the kitchen.
This allows me to go back to a certain routine. People with my lifestyle often lack the stability of a steady address and it’s important to travel to places where one can re create a little bit of comfort zone. I always say i don’t really like travelling anymore: i rather live in different places for certain periods of time.
I love to do ordinary things in extraordinary places.
The funny thing is that Goa is one of those places where i don’t even take so many pictures, as if the more simple and real my life becomes, the less i want to document that and i rather enjoy the moments to the fullest instead!
