When you lodge in a cheap room in Chinatown, KL is the kind of city where you better off walking on the streets than staying in bed listening to the hypnotizing sound of the fan. So, despite the late night, i decided to wake up and go for a walk.
Started walking towards the Indian temple….i normally crave South Indian food in the morning…
A clear morning in KL is always a bliss. Blue sky and a certain breeze made my first steps more pleasant!
Here i am, stuffing my face with a 5RM treat: a proper South Indian thali, a pure vegetarian meal, including rice, dal, 2 vegs, paneer, pickles, sambar and pappadam. While slurping it with my greedy fingers, a Tamil movie is on the big screen…I just love this stuff..!
This is KL: with a busy Chinese temple just beside a Hindu gopuram.
Just a go back to the guest house to take another shower, and here’s a snapshot of the owner and one of the employees!
A fortune teller waiting for his customers…is magic still alive down here?
KL is a concrete jungle: amazing tropical nature coexists beside modern hi-tech buildings.
While the city keeps growing, apparently everything is fine in the building site!
Someone is meditating/sleeping/begging..? The sound of my coins did’nt seem to bother him.
