When i was a gardener i used to dream about English gardens. Today, although i’ve got a different job, i get the chance to step into some of the most amazing gardens i’ve ever seen. The one at Rob and Michelle’s wedding was one of the finest !
I set up in the main garden, in order to play a first set as soon as the first guest would arrive. The weather wasn’t perfect, and after my break, we decided to move indoor, where i could entertain the guests without any risk of ending up soaking wet or electrocuted!
Punch and Judy is here to entertain the little ones !
While i play the first set, the amazing photographer Ross Harvey takes some shots. You should check his work at http://www.rossharveyphoto.com/, and after that you will want to get married just to have some of his pictures taken !
During my break i followed the couple trying to do some backstage photography !
And before they entered the dining room where all the guests were waiting for them, i had the chance to take this snapshot..i really like it!
Time to Punch and Judy to pack up and leave for another adventure !
While the guests are dining, me and the pgotographers/movie makers, get to eat some snacks too !
Mr. Harvey and his latest trendy glasses!
And this is my set up for the second set. The sound was great indoor, and the guest could dance and sing along in such intimate space!
Some other classy shot by Ross Harvey.
And after my 2 sets i could finally enjoy some of the party from the spectator point of view. Great soul and Motown classics were playing that night, and i really loved the fact that Rob and Michelle wanted me to stay and take part of the event even after my show. A really special night, for a special couple….I wish every wedding was this fun !
