The 7th of July 2012 i played at Sarah and Dan’s wedding. One year later, they booked me to play at their 1st year’s anniversary !
They are a lovely couple and they now live in a new place, in the beautiful Suffolk’s countryside.
When i was working as a gardener in Italy, i used to dream about gardens like this: before and after my gig, i tried to capture some shots of the beautiful setting, as the sunset light was getting warmer.
Dan comes from a family of horse breeders, and now they managed to found the perfect house. Right around the corner, they can look after their beautiful animals, as the mansion was previously provided with stables.
A jump in the swimming pool on a hot and sunny summer day is a must for every guest !
The garden is so well looked after: every corner has different plants and designs. Just in the middle of the main lawn, lies a delicate patch of bulbs and flowers.
The old bricked wall is a classic backgound and provides the perfect support for the climbing roses.
Between sets, i had a walk on the other side of the property, where the main house, which belongs to the landlords, lies in a peaceful park.
The pond in front of the house provides a natural element, enhances the feeling of space and hosts insects and animals.
At the end of the gig the two families did a toilet paper’s mummy competition: which one o you reckon being the best one ?
