Funny how, i’ve never been really attracted from China, but i’m a huge fan of Chinatowns around the world. Maybe because Chinatowns are a condensed version of such a huge country, they just let me see the best (or the worst) of the culture of the rising sun..?
I always end up staying in Chinatown when i am in KL, and i often walk around the neighbourhood taking snapshots of daily life, people, cafes, temples and shops.
I have a knack for Chinese memorabilia because my grandfather used to travel to Asia in the 50’s, and his house, where i’ve spent half of my childhood, was so full of souvenirs and stuff, that it looked like a Chinatown shop to me: maybe this is the reason of my love for these picturesque corners. Enjoy the photowalk !!!
Local biscuits..?
The colours of Chinatown.
Friends catching up near the temple.
Lotus flowers for sale.
What about a bowl of Asam Laksa..?
I feel so. I feel your article can give those people an excellent reminding. And they’ll express thanks to you down the road
